The 21 and 22 October 2021 the Centro will host the conference on the theme "Curation and Conservation: Dress and Textiles in Museums", an international initiative in partnership with the Association of Dress Historians in London.
The Association of Dress Historians is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes studies, research and activities on the history of fashion, fabric and accessories of every culture, region of the world, from antiquity to the present day, through meetings, large conferences and publications.
TICKETS AND INFORMATIONS
Tickets include attendance to the full two days of speaker and poster presentations,* live Italian-English/English-Italian audio translation and exclusive access to a digital conference pack, which will include:
In addition, there will be options to attend a welcome event on Wednesday, 20 October 2021 and tours of the CCR conservation labs.

The entire conference will be hybrid in order to allow both virtual and in person attendance. After you purchase your ticket you will be contacted by our staff and they will ask your preferred attendance. The ticket has the same price in order to guarantee your attendance even in case of inability to travel.

In-person attendees will be provided with further information regarding travel from Turin to Venaria, catering options ,and conference dinner options (please note: there may be a small additional charge for catering, and conference dinners will be itemised separately).
For those wishing to make travel plans immediately after booking, recommended hotels and suggestions regarding travel to and around Turin will be provided on your ticket.
The Association of Dress Historians and Centro Conservazione Restauro La Venaria Reale strongly recommend making arrangements that can be changed or cancelled, or purchasing personal travel insurance that protects against unforeseen changes relating to Covid-19. All attendees are personally responsible for checking international travel guidelines relating to Covid-19 restrictions to and from their destination.
