21st and 22nd October 2021 | Annual International Conference of Dress Historians

The Centre broadens its skills and focuses on conservation in the fashion and fashion field.
The 21 and 22 October 2021 the Centro will host the conference on the theme "Curation and Conservation: Dress and Textiles in Museums", an international initiative in partnership with the Association of Dress Historians in London.

The Association of Dress Historians is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes studies, research and activities on the history of fashion, fabric and accessories of every culture, region of the world, from antiquity to the present day, through meetings, large conferences and publications.


Tickets include attendance to the full two days of speaker and poster presentations,* live Italian-English/English-Italian audio translation and exclusive access to a digital conference pack, which will include:

  • the full programme,
  • digital versions of conference posters
  • links to pre-recorded events for all attendees

In addition, there will be options to attend a welcome event on Wednesday, 20 October 2021 and tours of the CCR conservation labs.
