Friday 5 June at 5 p.m.<\/strong>, Palazzo dei Musei presents to the public the\u00a0restoration of the mural paintings by Bernardino Lanino<\/strong>\u00a0preserved in the Pinacoteca, precious testimonies of the passage of the painter, a pupil of Gaudenzio Ferrari, to the Sacro Monte of Varallo.<\/p>\n

The restoration, carried out by\u00a0CCR<\/strong>\u00a0under the high supervision of the\u00a0Superintendence of Archaeology Fine Arts and Landscape for the Provinces of Biella, Novara, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and Vercelli<\/strong>, was achieved thanks to the support of\u00a0CRT Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0as part of the \u2018Cantieri Diffusi\u2019 call, which promotes recovery and enhancement of Piedmont\u2019s cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

The frescoes, originally in the ancient chapel of the Flagellation, will be relocated to the permanent path of the Pinacoteca with a new set-up designed to encourage better reading and use in relation to the context from which they come. The exhibition project was made possible thanks to the contribution of\u00a0CRV Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0Cassa di Risparmio di Forl\u00ec Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
