The Higher Education School (SAF) of the Centro Conservazione e Restauro "La Venaria Reale" is organizing the 10th edition of the School of Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy Applied to Cultural Heritage that, this year too, will be held remotely. The course will present new perspectives on the application of IR and Raman spectroscopies to the study of cultural heritage, focusing on three main aspects:

• theoretical introduction for each of the two techniques

• practical sessions based on videos with dedicated commentaries
• spectral interpretation for cultural heritage materials

Furthermore, this year’s program will include a special focus on SERS and SORS applications of Raman spectroscopy and a workshop on spectral interpretation, which will take place after the School.

Classes of the School will be held in Italian, whereas the workshop will be held in English.
