THE OBJECTIVES:

• Identify the stages of realization of a temporary exhibition
• Recognize the roles of the different professional figures involved in the realization of temporary exhibitions
• Become familiar with the technical documentation related to the organisation of temporary exhibitions
• Understand the principles of organising and managing invitations to tender for exhibition services
• Know the insurance aspects of works of art
• Know the guidelines for the design of the exhibition space, handling and packaging

The course guides the participants in a structured path within the process of creating a temporary exhibition, offering a clear and concrete overview of the main operational phases. From the conception of the exhibition project to the management of spaces and loans, the course explores the organisational and curatorial strategies necessary to launch an exhibition effectively. Essential aspects such as the safety of works, insurance cover, technical documentation and the appropriateness of environments are also addressed. The course is completed by a focus on construction techniques, the handling and packaging of works, up to the latest digital applications for the management of condition reports and environmental monitoring. A dynamic and cross-cutting introduction to the world of temporary exhibitions.
