Laboratoires Filorga Italia provides a scholarship, for a new graduate or a new graduate in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, in the PFP2 sector (Manufacts painted on wooden and textile support. Artifacts carved in wood. Wooden furniture and structures. Manufactured in processed, assembled and/or painted synthetic materials), for a period of 8 months to be held at the ‘La Venaria Reale’ Conservation and Restoration Centre from September 2024 to April 2025.

The grant will be awarded on the basis of an opinion expressed by the committee composed of members of Laboratoires Filorga Italia and the ‘La Venaria Reale’ Conservation and Restoration Centre.

During the period at the Centre, the restorer will have the opportunity to try her hand at the painting on canvas by Nene Martelli. Portrait of a Girl in a Pink Coat, 1952, It comes from a private collection and will work closely with restorers, art historians, diagnosticians and conservation scientists, including on other artistic artefacts.

Scholarship value: €8,000 gross for the period indicated
