The JRC is characterised by the predominance of women, including in management roles, and by its belief in the value of diversity, promoting equal opportunities for growth regardless of gender, culture, generation, religion and ethnicity. In March 2023, it set up the Committee on Equal Opportunities (CPO) to monitor gender neutrality in growth opportunities, promote work-life balance and verify pay equity. The CPO has drawn up a Gender Equality Plan, adapted to the specificities of the Foundation, with tools for five thematic areas, aiming to positively influence the working climate and to reconsider the organisation of work from a social and gender perspective. This plan has guided the formulation of a policy aimed at all employees and shared with key stakeholders, consultants, suppliers and customers, with the aim of having a significant impact on the organisation’s network.
