Documentation and archives

Digital archive

The Conservation and Restoration Center keeps a copy of the documentation of the conservation interventions carried out from 2005 to today, in agreement with the owners of the restored works.

It also digitised and preserves the historical archives of the restorer Pinin Brambilla Barcilon (1925-2020) and the historic Turin art gallery Martano (active from 1965 to 2013), founded by Giuliano Martano and Liliana Dematteis.

In this section it is possible to explore the consistencies of the three archives, through the inventories. Within the project Humanities in Conservation – NRRP, Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, some forms have been made available, in agreement with the bodies that own the works,  for free consultation through the drafting of an abstract for easy reading and an in-depth one.

The consultation of the archives for study and research purposes can be requested at the e-mail address archivio@ccrvenaria.it
