As part of a technical-scientific collaboration between the JRC and the TAREA Centre, Escuela de Arte y Patrimonio (EAyP) – Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM), the Italian Embassy and the Institute of Foreign Trade (ICE) in Buenos Aires supported the implementation of a project to exchange know-how on preventive conservation. 

The initiative provided for the mapping of the state of conservation of the works kept in the Italian Embassy and environmental monitoring, to define conservation actions and conservation treatments. The project consisted of online meetings, the development of a data collection methodology and an in-person workshop with two JRC experts, three TAREA teachers and 12 Argentine students.
