RESTURO CONSERVATION CENTER La Venaria Realehome / Documentation and Archives

Documentation and Archives

The Center develops and conducts activities of documentation and enhancement of archival and bibliographic funds of particular importance for the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.

Through specific reorganisation and cataloguing projects, it has acquired archives linked to the history of restoration, with the aim of making this heritage of sources available to researchers.

In 2024, the Documentation and Communication Area coordinated the NRRP-funded HUMANITIES IN CONSERVATION project, Mission 1 – Digitalisation, Innovation, Competitiveness and Culture, Component 3 – Culture 4.0 (M1C3), Measure 1 “Cultural Heritage for the Next Generation”, Investment 1.2: “Removing physical and cognitive barriers in museums, libraries and archives to enable wider access to and participation in culture” of the EU-funded NRRP – NextGenerationEU.
Thanks to this project, it is now possible to explore the CCR's digital archives, in accessible mode, continuously updated.
