The Centre has a library specialising in art history, restoration history and techniques, archaeology, design, diagnostics, art criticism and museology, with particular attention to the local artistic context.
Created to support the studies and research of restorers, teachers and students of the Degree Course, it is open and accessible to all users and researchers.
The patrimony of books is about 35,000 volumes, books and periodicals catalogued in SBN (National Library Service) and also available on the national OPAC (Online Public ACcess) and on Librinlinea.

In recent years, the Centre has received important donations from bibliographic funds women who were protagonists of Italian culture:
- The First Woman Restorer Pinin Brambilla Barcilon, Director of the Centre’s Laboratories from 2005 to 2012
- the Art Historian Rosanna May Greenhouse, former director of the GAM in Turin
- the Art Historian Luisa Vertova, assistant to Bernard Berenson and curator of Christie’s
- physics Antoinette Gallon Galassi, pioneer of diagnostics applied to teaching paintings at the Politecnico di Milano
- the architect Maria Grazia Cerri, Superintendent in Piedmont and Professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin
- the Baroque Historian Andreina Griseri, Lecturer at the University of Turin
- the archaeologist Liliana Mercando, Superintendent of Piedmont
- the Art and Restoration Historian Carla Enrica Spantigati, Superintendent of Piedmont and first scientific director of the Centre
