ll Diderot project of the CRT Foundation offers students from all primary and secondary education institutions I and II degrees in Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta give students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of traditional subjects with innovative methodologies and to approach disciplines that go beyond the strict curricular scope: from art to mathematics, from economics to computing, from lifestyles to addiction prevention, from English to contemporary art.
The objective of the Diderot Project – which over the years has shaped more than 1.5 million students – is twofold: Strengthening basic education approaching students in a creative and stimulating way to disciplines not always included in curricular programs and deepening traditional subjects with innovative methodologies, spreading the founding values of civil society. Participation is free of charge for all schools, excluding the cost of any transport.
INSIDE ART. CONSERVATION BETWEEN ART AND SCIENCE
The line aims to recognise the importance of cultural heritage by actively involving students in the discovery of skills and actions needed to safeguard it. Students will experience the interdisciplinary approach that characterizes the protection and conservation of cultural heritage and the scientific method adopted to support restoration interventions.
Students will discover the skills of the professionals involved, the technologies and tools used, the multiplicity of materials used in cultural heritage, their properties and degradation factors. The first 60 classes – a maximum of 25 students per class – who will enrol will be able to visit the Venaria Conservation Restoration Centre.
ROAD SHOW AND REGISTRATIONS
The program will be presented to all school leaders and teachers through a dedicated road show, starting from from Turin on 19 September 2025 at 11.30 a.m. at the CRT Foundation It will continue in the following days for all the provinces of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta.
Registration will open on Wednesday 15 October 2025 at 2 p.m. on the dedicated portal: teachers who will participate in the road show will be reserved a code to access the registration portal.
Applications will be accepted on the basis of the time-limit for registration: as always, therefore, the timeliness of the enrolment operations by each teacher will be a decisive element for the acceptance of their class
