At the Reggia di Venaria and the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, a specific monitoring plan has been launched for insects harmful to the works of art on display in the collections, in order to identify the different species of entomofauna and define procedures and products to eradicate their attack and preserve the works.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which involves the collaboration of restorers and biologists, has planned the design of a system for monitoring the presence of insects, through the placement of traps of different types, useful for understanding both the variety of species present and their number over time.
