Restoration reports (06/1993-01/1994) and photographic documentation relating to the painting The Fall of St. Paul of the Cerano.

Facilitated description

The work "The Fall of St. Paul" by Giovanni Battista Crespi called Cerano is a painting on canvas from the early 1600s preserved at the Archbishop's Curia of Milan.
The restorer Pinin Brambilla Barcilon restored the work in 1993-1994 under the direction of Simonetta Coppa.
The restorer cleaned the support from dust.
He fixed the raised pictorial film.
He studied the painting, which in the past had had several restorations and pictorial additions (reconstruction of the material or color of missing parts).
It kept the older interventions and removed only a few more recent remakes.
