Restoration
A general structural and consolidation review was carried out on the work. On the frame were removed the deposits of dust with soft bristle brushes and micro aspirator both from the front and from the back and the scales of prepearation and gilding were consolidated with punctual injections of adhesive. Finally, the small gaps of preparation and gilding were filled with Bologna chalk and rabbit glue and replenished with watercolor colors.
