Facilitated description:
Mountainous landscape with river village and boats is a painting on wooden board.
The painter Jan Griffier painted the painting during the 1600s.
The painting is kept at the Galleria Sabauda in Turin.
The La Venaria Reale Conservation and Restoration Centre restored the painting in 2014.
The restorers cleaned the painting of dust.
They reinforced the parts that were coming off.
They filled the color gaps with putty (plaster and glue layer).
Eventually they painted the painting to protect it from the sun's rays and dust.

Consolidation, cleaning, grouting, retouching and painting on the pictorial surface and on the frame were carried out on the work.
