Facilitated description: 

 

Landscape with wayfarers is a painting on wooden board. 
The painting depicts some people walking along a road near a forest.
The painting is kept in the Savoy Gallery of Torinio. 
The La Venaria Reale Conservation and Restoration Centre restored the painting in 2014. 
The restorers cleaned the painting of dust.
They reinforced the parts of the wooden board that were coming off. 
They filled the color gaps with stucco (plaster and glue layer) and watercolors. 
They painted the painting to protect it from the sun's rays and dust.
Then they cleaned the frame and gilded the parts without gilding.

Restoration

The table underwent a general structural adjustment. Consolidations, surface cleaning, grouting of gaps, pictorial retouching and final protective painting were therefore carried out. Also on the frame the new plasterings have been prepared and a chromatic re-itegration with leaf gilding has been made.
