Facilitated description:

The coffee table is a wooden piece of furniture with a marble top.
The coffee table was made during the 1800s.
The coffee table is kept at Castello Cavour in Santena.
The restorers of the La Venaria Reale Conservation and Restoration Centre restored the coffee table in 2014-2016.
The restorers placed the coffee table in an anoxic chamber, an oxygen-free chamber used to eliminate wood-eating insects.
They cleaned the coffee table of dust with small vacuum cleaners and chemicals.
They glued the parts of wood that were coming off.
They filled the missing wood parts with painted similar wood.
They covered holes caused by wood-eating insects.
In the end they put a product against insects that feed on wood and a protective substance to protect the coffee table from the sun's rays and dust.
