TAROCCHI VIRTUAL STUDY DAY

Tarot Virtual Study Day is the online study day dedicated to the Visconti-Sforza tarot cards and formally organized by the Morgan Library & Museum. Federica Pozzi, head of the Centre’s Scientific Laboratories, participates in the event as a speaker and moderator of a session.

The day is the first opportunity to disseminate the results obtained as part of an international collaboration for the technical-scientific study of the materials and techniques of these precious decks of cards, made around the mid-fifteenth century by the Lombard illuminator Bonifacio Bembo commissioned by Francesco Maria Sforza and currently distributed among the Morgan Library & Museum, Accademia Carrara, Yale University and Pinacoteca di Brera.
