THE OBJECTIVES:

• Provide basic knowledge on the theoretical principles of the techniques under consideration.
• Present an overview of the state of the art and possible applications.
• Transmit skills in data acquisition and processing.

Now in its second consecutive edition, the Winter School is the result of a collaboration between the Centro Conservazione Restauro ‘La Venaria Reale’ (CCR) and the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile di Torino (MAUTO), which will host the course. The training course, based on an integrated interdisciplinary approach, aims to deepen and increase skills in the field of conservation and restoration of vintage cars. Restorers, conservation scientists, curators and professionals of some of the most important companies in the sector will confront the participants during theoretical lessons, demonstration workshops in the laboratory and thematic visits to some of the most representative places of Italian conservation and automotive culture.
