Il fascicolo contiene due relazioni di restauro e una serie di mappature. I fototipi documentano il restauro della cappella e del vestibolo della chiesa.

 

 

Descrizione facilitata 

 

I dipinti murali di Carlo Innocenzo Carloni nella Cappella di Sant'Antonio Abate nel Duomo di Monza sono del 1745 circa.
La restauratrice Pinin Brambilla Barcilon ha restaurato i dipinti nel 1989-1990.
La restauratrice ha iniziato con dei test di pulitura (pulire la superficie dell’opera d’arte dallo sporco depositato nel corso del tempo).
Ha consolidato (rendere più stabili le superfici) le parti dell'affresco e ha riempito le lacune (parti mancanti).
La restauratrice ha effettuato il ritocco pittorico con acquarelli. 
Ha pulito e consolidato (rendere più stabili le superfici) le stuccature (uno strato bianco di gesso e colla che si stende dentro una mancanza e che forma una base liscia e uniforme su cui dipingere le integrazioni) dorate.
La restauratrice ha pulito l'altare in marmo della cappella con il vapore.
