HERITAGE: BEYOND WALLS

The protection of cultural heritage should be a common duty for everyone, everywhere in the world. Not only because of its historical significance, but also because it is a fundamental resource for the future of individuals and communities.

It is therefore essential to create accessible channels for information, study and sharing, so as to strengthen this awareness.

This is the aim of the programme for Syrian university students ‘HERITAGE: BEYOND WALLS’, designed and promoted by Santagata Foundation for the Economics of Culture.

As an official partner, the Centre deeply believes in this project, which places the dissemination of knowledge of cultural heritage as an engine for lasting development processes among peoples.

The JRC Secretary General, Sara Abram, will speak in the online talks Restoration and Beyond scheduled for 3 March 2021
