The school is open to 12 restorers under 30 They wish to become active players in the preservation of cultural heritage.
The proposed training course integrates technical and specialized skills with the soft skills necessary to face the challenges of the contemporary labor market.
Participants will acquire key skills for starting and managing new businesses, in terms of sustainability, internationalisation, self-entrepreneurship.
By promoting this same management approach, the School will provide participants with technical and transversal skills necessary for the planning and design of restoration interventions: Participants will strengthen their ability to read context, analyse and understand constraints, risks and data based on participatory planning of the restoration project.
The course is completed with a in-depth analysis of the documentation of the restoration work.
The Winter School is divided inton 8 days of lessons, face-to-face and online, integrating lectures, presentation of case studies, operational workshops, as well as one-to-one consultations for three selected participants.
The school is based on three thematic areas:
1. MANAGEMENT OF MICRO IMPRESA ARTIGIANA
2. DESIGN OF THE RESTORATION INTERVENTION
3. DOCUMENTATION AND COMMUNICATION

INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANCY PATHS (by CNA):
Individual advice will be focused on the business project of the aspiring entrepreneur. The aim will be to produce a Business Plan to help clarify the business idea, including: objectives, strategies, sales, marketing and economic, financial and capital forecasts.
There are up to a maximum of 3 individual counselling courses of 12 hours each, which can be activated on request. Preferential criteria will be considered: the state of progress of the project, in favour of the most advanced; the order of registration. Requests for advice must be sent to Luca Varnavà (lvarnava@cna-to.it) by Friday 28 February 2025. Registration will close once the available places have been reached. The chronological order will apply. The consultations will be delivered in person at CNA Torino or remotely.
