THE RESTORATION OF THE FLYING FIGURE
Thanks to the contribution of GICON Group of Ivrea was possible of all-round plaster sculpture, Flying figure, by the Berlin-based artist Jenny Wiegmann Mucchi (1895-1969).
His fortuitous and accidental discovery took place in 2018, in the attic of the Fabbrica dei Mattoni Rossi in Ivrea. Destined to furnish the Olivetti store in Naples, after the bombing of 1943, the traces were lost. Once acephalous, ‘l’angelo onirico’ has regained due attention and full appreciation in the Centre’s laboratories as a sign of a revolutionary Italian artistic season.
