Plot OF A JOURNEY BETWEEN VENETO AND PIEDMONT

On 14 September, the restoration project will be presented in the Aula Magna of the Centro TRAME DI UN VIAGGIO TRA VENETO E PIEMONTE, which sees, for the first time, a very close collaboration between the Regional Directorate of Veneto Museums, the Conservation and Restoration Centre ‘La Venaria Reale’, Gli Orti Di Venezia and Nova Coop.

At the heart of the project is a precious textile masterpiece from the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti at Ca’ d’Oro in Venice, which arrived in our workshops in August to be restored.

The project is part of a wider programme to enhance the value of the artefact and to display it in the Ca’ d’Oro museum, supported by the ‘Una trama da svelare’ project, in which the Centre collaborates with MiBACT with the Veneto Regional Museums Directorate, the Giorgio Franchetti Gallery at ca’D’Oro, Gli Orti Di Venezia and Nova Coop.
