The JRC at the International Book Fair
The Restoration Conservation Centre ‘La Venaria Reale’ is taking part in the new edition of the International Book Fair of Turin.
The theme of XXXVII edition of the Book Fair will be The words between us read It evokes the constant possibility ofmeeting.
The Center, at the invitation of the Piedmont Region of the City of Turin and the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, participates on Sunday 18 and Monday 19 May with three moments of storytelling and in-depth study. Friday 16th, in the busy programme of Chinese events There will also be the signing of a collaboration protocol between the Zhejiang University Press in Hangzhou and the Center.

Zhejiang Pavilion
On the occasion of the opening ceremony of the stand of the People’s Republic of China, a protocol will be signed between the Zhejiang University Press in Hangzhou and the Centre, with the operational support of the Associazione Nuova Generazione Italo-Chinese (Angi) in Turin, for academic and editorial collaboration for the publication of reports on archaeological excavations, monographs on restoration techniques and case collections on the conservation of cultural heritage. The Centre will be present Stefania De Blasi, Head of Documentation and Communication Area e Silvia Sabato, Head of Strategic Plan and Internationalization.

Presentation of the photographic book “Beyond the visible‘, published by Allemandi, published for the twenty years of the Restoration Conservation Centre ‘La Venaria Reale’. Three photographic glances tell the Center: work on construction sites, beauty hidden in works and life in laboratories. A visual journey that reveals transformation, care and passion, offering an intimate perspective on a place where art comes to life.
