Recognition, promoted within the framework of theDigital Innovation Observatory for Culture of the Polytechnic of Milan, enhances the initiatives that contribute to innovate the cultural sector.
For the section Education, one of the three categories of the Prize, the JRC was among the finalists with “Inside Art. Conservation between art and science”, the educational line of the ‘Diderot’ project supported by the CRT Foundation.
It is a path created to bring the new generations closer to the conservation of cultural heritage: Through targeted activities, students can discover the skills of the professionals who take care of them and reflect on the role that each can play in its transmission to the future.
This recognition confirms the value of an approach capable of bringing education, conservation and science into dialogue.
The initiative is part of the Diderot project supported by CRT Foundation: an opportunity for schools to deepen disciplines and approaches rarely found in curricular pathways.
