THIRD EDITION | February 17th - June 16th, Final event July 1st
As part of the Strategic Plan 2019-2022 of the CCR - Centre for Conservation and Restoration “La Venaria Reale”, drawn up with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo in line with the multiannual programmes of the Founders and in line with the more detailed programme of action provided in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
the "Young Professionals Forum. Emerging skills for heritage conservation"
is the first major international initiative aimed at increasing skills, comparing professionals in the Cultural Heritage field and opening up to wider and more diversified audiences.
Converted into a completely digital event, due to the health emergency Covid-19, the Forum has since the beginning registered the membership as a partner of some of the most important national and international institutes.
This year, a new formula will be proposed, a annual programme of integrated events and activities to improve participants' professional skills and expand their international networks.
Below is the complete path:
In the final digital event on 1 July (2:00-4:00 pm Rome time), the working groups share their experience and gather ideas for publishing a summary report of their activities. To this event the simultaneous Italian-English translation is available.
Through the Young Professionals Community, participants live the Forum getting in touch with their colleagues and exchanging perspectives. The Forum team guides the participants and provides useful pills for the enhancement of soft skills.
10 webinars, with simultaneous Italian-English translation, between February and April. Explore different approaches to preservation and enhancement of Cultural Heritage, learning about the experience of a wide range of specialists and senior professionals working in world-renowned museums and cultural heritage institutions.
All the Experts are available for one-to-one meetings with those participants who wish to ask for advice or have questions related to their career. Meet the senior professional who impressed you most between 26 April and 29 April.
Interactive workshops provide an opportunity to act on practical case studies and reflect on current issues. 7 interactive workshops to choose from are proposed by Forum partners with activities on cross-cutting topics. All workshops will be held in English.
The most outstanding profile is awarded a fellowship at the Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” to WORK with its international network.
